      However, when Austin's The Black Angels set out to summon a ghost with "Directions To See A Ghost", the result is a lot darker and more genuine.

      The masters of drone assemble rhythms of tide and ebb, angular, raucous epics on their second album and turn their incantation on "Directions To See A Ghost" into a haunting psychedelic masterpiece that spans a full 72 minutes and eleven tracks.

      And while the effect of a Disney ghost might be limited to a breathed "Oh, how cute" and amnesia once the movie is over, The Black Angels are way ahead of Disney with "Directions To See A Ghost" and have created a record that will stay with you as a presence even after the stereo lights have long gone out.
