Billy Joel – Piano Man

With "Piano Man" Billy Joel made his debut with Columbia in 1973. The singer/songwriter had already been discovered by talent scouts of his future record company in April 1972, but it was to take another two years until he could bring his first album to the people. "Piano Man" reached number 27 in the US long-play charts and proved Billy Joel to be an accomplished songwriter, who also appeared in the singles charts for the first time with tracks such as "Travelin' Prayer", "Worse Comes To Worst" and "Piano Man"
